Routine maintenance and inspection of your water well is essential to protect your health as poor water quality can lead to serious health problems.  It will also ensure that your well is functioning correctly, extend the useful life of the well system, and protect your investment.

It is crucial to perform maintenance on your well before small issues turn into serious and more costly problems. Just as changing the oil regularly can extend the life of your engine, a regular inspection of your well can prevent costly repairs in the future and ensure that your well is operating at its best. At a minimum, wells should be evaluated annually.

Annual Check-Up

An annual check-up for your water well should include a flow test to ensure that the well is pumping water at the expected rate, a visual inspection of the wellhead and surrounding area, and a water quality test for bacteria, nitrates, and other contaminants that may be a concern in your area. Additionally, checking valves and electrical testing should be conducted to make sure that everything is working correctly. Once the checkup is completed, a written report will be provided to you, which includes our recommendations and all test results. We recommend keeping this report in a safe place.
